Wow, what an experience this is for our family! I truly understand what all my friends and family meant when they say once you have a kid you expierence a new kind of love. I feel like I can suck Eli's face all day... I truly love this child more than anything in this world.

What an amazing journey this has been, my life was forever changed on June 29, 2009. Eli is amazing and it is still so hard for me to comprehend that I was chosen to be his Mom. I truly can not think of a more honorable name, I am humbled. I am enjoying my life as a new mom and my new precious family so very much. Life just gets sweeter and sweeter, and God has blessed us with the most beautiful baby boy!!!

Oh what a journey it has been over the last couple of weeks. We understand exactly what everybody means when they say "try and get as much sleep as you can, cause you will need it"
Oh my GOD this dude doesnt sleep, he can win any staring contest in the world, trust me! Its all good though, its been amazing.. To see him and the progress already in just 3 weeks is ridiculous. Unfortuanatly he has gotten a bit of a cold this last week and it has made things a little more difficult. Seems today is starting to go away, so that's great!
To all our friends and family again, thank you so much for all the help and support! Yall have made this journey a lot easier for us, so thanks.....

Hailey Blog # 2
It is so hard to believe that Eli is already almost 4 weeks. This has been the most amazing 4 weeks of my life. He is the greatest gift I have ever recieved aside from Eric. Parenthood is unbelievble and life with Eli & Eric is more than I ever dreamed it would be. As Eric said Eli did get a little cold this past week so it has been LOOOOONG week for us all. It has certainly felt like our days and nights morph into one. We survived it and Eli is getting much better. Until next time, All my love!

Can't believe it's already been 1 month since Eli was born! Everybody was right, that it goes by so fast... Also when we have so much going on it seems like time really flies by. Well I wish I can tell you that Eli is sleeping through the night, WRONG! He is just like his mom and dad and does whatever he wants, when ever he wants! This kid loves to be awake......Seems that Hailey is getting better slowly but surely, so thats a good thing! Ready for our world to slow down a bit and find a routine for all of us... May be awhile...

Hailey Blog #3
7 weeks have come and gone, time truly does fly when you are having FUN! The last few weeks have been AMAZING and life changing. My recovery was long and had lots of curve balls, but we have all survived, and sleep has finally returned to the Stroderd home. I am finding my groove as a new Mom, and my days with Eli are filled with playdates with friends, reading, watching Baby Einstein, playing with his toys, sleeping, eating, peeing and POOPING all over ME, literally! It's a blast and I have to say that I truly have the BEST job in the world! I will continue to update on Eli's upcoming ventures. Thanks so much for all the LOVE and support, it humbles to know how loved Eli is by all! Until next time, All my LOVE!

Well as I listen to Eli crying right now in his bed not wanting to take a nap I get my oppurtunity to tell you what we been up to. Hold on have to go pick up the pacifer he dropped on the floor......ok... Life has been amazing over the last couple of months. Hailey and I have come so far as parents, husband & wife, and most of all were still best friends. This journey has made us work together and we make a great team. Hailey has become the most amazing wife and mother to Eli. He is doing great he getting so big and chunky. He weighs about 21-23 pounds and he is 6 months old as of the 12/29/09. He loves to play with mommy all day and by the time I get home its fun time till he goes to bed around 8! Lately he has been sleeping all night which is amazing... Unfortuantly he has been sick through the holidays with a cold and runny nose, no fever but just a lot of crying... Its all good though and life must go on and 2010 here we are. So thanks for visiting our site and we look forward to updating it soon.....Till next time

Wow, has time flown by lately. Things have been crazy but good. We are only less than a month away from Eli having his first bday party and it seems as if time has flown by "Kinda". Hailey is so excited about this party as well as I, but definitly not excited as Hailey. She is pumped. Eli is absolutly amazing. He is doing so good and he's so healthy thank God!
He is a blast to be around now. He smiles at everyone around and has this extremely fun personality to be around. That makes me so happy! He has learned how to say bye, bye and wave his little hands. He loves to wave hello to people now and mutter the word. He gives me a five now just about everytime. He loves to be outside, its doesnt make a difference what were doing just bieng outside makes him so happy.
Walking like a big boy! He has taken his first steps at this point and just doesnt want to walk any more than he has too. 4-5 steps and thats it,
Thats okay though, cause we haved yet to make our house walking and climbing proof.
